OH MY GOODNESS I'M OVERWHELMED. Okay, friends, settle in, because I have the greatest story to tell...
I've known Kaleb + Holly for the past two years. Kaleb and I were co-worship leaders at a college ministry that Holly was also a part of. Kaleb hardcore crushed on Holly for a long time before finally asking her out. As two of the sweetest and kindest people I know, I watched with glee as their relationship unfolded over the next several months.
Cut to a few weeks ago when Holly secretly texted me wanting to set up a surprise photoshoot for her and Kaleb on their 6-month anniversary. Adorable, right?? WELL, around that same time, Kaleb also secretly texted me saying he was planning to propose to Holly in the next couple months and could I photograph it. OH HECK YES. So there I was, keeping two surprise photoshoots a secret from these two. Happy day!!
Three days before the 6-month anniversary photoshoot Holly had arranged, Kaleb texts me this: "Holly just told me about the surprise photoshoot! What if I just propose to her then?!" Again, OH HECK YES. Was this a photographer's dream or was it a photographer's dream?! We made our plan and everything was set up perfectly.
SO. When the day finally came, we all met up at the beautiful Myriad Botanical Gardens in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. And in the middle of the surprise photoshoot Holly had planned, Kaleb dropped to one knee and gave Holly the biggest surprise EVER. Pardon me, I'm just over here crying my eyes out...
I am SO excited for these friends of mine and SO FREAKIN THRILLED I got to capture this moment. Are they not the cutest people ever?? I can't wait to see these two get married!!
