Forever and always a fan of these two. This was my second time to photograph Olivia + Rob. They had booked a couples session with me last fall, and after getting engaged earlier this year, we excitedly began planning their engagement session. They knew for sure they wanted something different, something adventurous, something dramatic.

BRITTNEY + MICHAEL'S WINTER ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN THE MOUNTAINS | OKC + DESTINATION ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Brittney + Michael dreamed up the perfect session in the mountains, but during a mild week in February, they definitely weren’t planning for the temperature to suddenly drop to 45 degrees and the rain to roll in! Instead of being scared off, they totally embraced it and we went ahead and shot in the mist and cold and fog.
In-home photo sessions are like the world’s best kept secret.
They’re not nearly as popular as they should be, and while the concept may seem strange at first, just think about it! Your own home. Your most comfortable element. Ultimate relaxation and coziness. The most you. Everything familiar and homey and welcoming to help you feel so natural and relaxed during your photo session.
You ever meet those people who are SO kind and SO sweet they just feel like sunshine and laughter and all things lovely???
Yup. That’s Olivia + Rob.
STONE BARN AT BLUEBERRY HILL ENGAGEMENT SESSION | OKLAHOMA CITY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | JESILYN + KYLE
Jesilyn + Kyle chose to have most of their engagement photos taken at the gorgeous Stone Barn at Blueberry Hill event venue in Oklahoma City. It was the most perfect day, right at that crisp beginning of fall. We explored the beautiful Blueberry Hill while listening to their favorite music, some Shania Twain and Turnpike Troubadours. (Also, spoiler alert: these two can seriously two-step.) Then we drove over to downtown OKC to a favorite rooftop to catch the last golden rays of sun.
Usually my clients come to me a bit uncertain about their engagement session, asking for advice and help with planning. But Kendi + Denzel knew exactly what they wanted. We sat down over coffee and they told me all about their ideas. They were looking for something different. They were over what was traditional. They wanted modern, funky, bold, and unique.
